A Life Dedicated to Innovation, Culture, and Community Service

Alban Maino is a Film Producer, entrepreneur, and innovator whose journey reflects a deep commitment to education, health, and Franco-American cooperation. With a career spanning
creative audiovisual production, technological innovation, and social development, Alban has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of others while fostering cross-cultural connections.

A Path Rooted in Culture and Education

As a French and American citizen, Alban considers himself a global citizen and has dedicated his creative talents to social impact and culture while addressing pressing societal needs. He is the creator of Memory Lane TV, the first streaming platform designed specifically for individuals with cognitive impairments. This project, blending art, technology, and scientific research in collaboration with leading U.S. research centers, reflects Alban's drive to bring human-centered solutions to global challenges.

An Innovator with a Purpose

Alban has devoted over three decades to pushing the boundaries of creativity as a producer, director, and entrepreneur. As the founder of Memory Lane TV, launched in 2012, he has introduced an innovative multisensory therapy that improves the quality of life for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and their care partners. This platform goes beyond being a therapeutic tool; it reconnects individuals with their memories, identity, and loved ones.

Alban’s career has been shaped by personal experiences, particularly the loss of his brother to a neurodegenerative disease at a young age. This pivotal moment inspired his lifelong commitment to supporting individuals and families navigating complex health challenges. His involvement with the Institute of Life (a Parisian Think Tank pioneering Alzheimer’s research with Nobel Prizes) fueled his work with Memory Lane TV and has reached hospitals, retirement homes, and private households worldwide, thanks to strategic partnerships and a shared mission to make a difference.

A Diplomat Promoting French Culture Abroad

As the Honorary Consul of France in Maine since 2022, Alban has played a key role in strengthening cultural and educational ties between France and the United States. He co-founded the Alliance Française of Maine and established the Champlain Francophone Film Festival, which welcomed prominent guests such as the French Ambassador to the U.S. during its latest edition. Alban has also supported numerous initiatives fostering economic and cultural exchanges between the two nations.

A Collaborative Leader

Throughout his career, Alban has consistently worked with multidisciplinary teams to address societal challenges. Former president of the Maine Film Association, Board Member of the
French-American Chamber of Commerce of New England for a decade, and vice president of the Institut de la Vie in Paris, he has contributed to research on integrative health and well-being
during his entire career. He founded the nonprofit “Enfancillages” in France, which brought artistic interventions into French schools, and was the executive director of the Center for Wellness Leadership in the US, a nonprofit organization fostering research on Integrative Health.

Innovating for Good

From launching Les Voies de la Mémoire in Touraine—an initiative that later became Memory Lane TV—to supporting caregivers and families worldwide, Alban's work demonstrates that technological innovation can serve a profound social purpose.

A Shared Recognition

Alban’s achievements reflect not only his dedication but also the collective efforts of collaborators, researchers, and caregivers who share his vision. Through creativity, empathy, and innovation, he has worked to improve lives and foster cross-cultural understanding, contributing to both the global community and the image of France abroad. He was awarded the Memory Care Innovation Award in 2024 for his pioneering work in the field of dementia and Alzheimer using sensory stimulation.
